Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Loving God, this holiday season, we pray that the abundance of Your blessings would be known by all, both our neighbors near and far. We pray for peace. We pray for joy. We pray for hope. We pray that the spirit of generosity, forgiveness, and kindness that fills us this time of year might remain with us always, and that we would extend to all people the grace we would hope to receive. As we look ahead to a new year that waits on the horizon, God, may we greet it with enthusiasm and a sense of purpose for Your work in our world. Amen.
