Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
God of Heaven, we come before You today seeking wisdom and guidance in how we should lead. My heart is drawn to the prayer of David in the 25th Psalm, and I bring it to Your ear once again:
"No one whose hope is in You will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. Show me Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths; guide me in Your truth and teach me,
for You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long."
There is no part of our path that is a surprise to You. There is no treachery that is beyond Your sight. Share with our leaders Your unmatched wisdom, and let their actions today bless the world.
I ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
