Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Holy Mystery, help us to keep finding steady ground in this time of instability.
Holy Mystery, remind us in these days of spectacle to stay human by telling the truth, caring for each other and practicing mercy instead of revenge.
Holy Mystery, help us to cultivate community by listening, trusting and staying present to each other.
Holy Mystery, remind us that courage and wisdom come when we stand shoulder to shoulder with all of our beloved siblings working for the flourishing of all.
Holy Mystery, in this season of resurrection we do not wait for new life to begin someday, we practice it now by tending to life and resisting fear.
Holy Mystery, we do not know what comes next but we trust that we already carry what we need in shared values, shared songs and shared responsibilities. Amen.
