Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Heavenly Father, bless this House, its Members and families, and the families of every house recovering from Florence.
Hear us Lord in the day of our calamity. Send us help and deliverance from Your sanctuary according to the depth of Your mercy and the goodness of Your heart.
Spare us from the arrows of our enemies. Forgive our presumptuous sins. Cleanse us from our secret faults. Then we will rejoice in Your salvation. And in the name of the most High, then will we know that it is the Lord who saves His people. By the saving strength of Your right hand that You hear us from Your holy heaven.
Some may trust in chariots and horses, but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
Let the words of our mouths, and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord.
