Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Good and gracious God, as we continue to celebrate the birth of this great Nation and the freedoms it enjoys, we are reminded that true and lasting freedom comes from You. May we use the many gifts You have given us to spread Your freedom and peace throughout this land and this world. May we be Your light to other nations and a source of hope in Your lasting freedom for all peoples. We fervently offer this prayer and are confident that You hear and answer us. Amen.
