Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Good and gracious God who order all things well and beautifully, grant to this people's House wisdom and prudence that amid the ever–changing dynamics of a complex world we may secure justice and prosperity for our countrymen and peaceful coexistence with our neighbors. In a particular way, we ask You to hear our prayers for the sick or infirm in our land: grant them healing and bless their caregivers. Finally, author of life, we ask You to watch over the deceased whom we commend to Your care and those who grieve for them. Amen.
