Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You praying over this nation. Your Word declares in 2 Chronicles 17:14 that if your people are to humble themselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from their wicked ways, we will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and heal their land.
Father, heal our land. We pray over every congressman, congresswoman, senator, governor, government leader, staff member. Give them godly wisdom and guide their decisions. Let Your Holy Spirit rest upon them and direct their steps.
Lord, align our ways with your ways. Wash us, cleanse us, make us whole. We declare that no weapon that's formed against this nation shall prosper.
Your Word says in Isaiah 1:19, "If ye will be willing and obedient, then ye will eat the good of the land." Help us to walk in obedience and to put Your word first.
Thank you Father for Your presence, Your power, Your protection, Your anointing. May Your hand remained upon our leaders, our family, our communities, and our nation.
