Opening Prayer Given by the Guest Chaplain:
Good and gracious God,
We thank you for creating us and calling us into relationship with you and one another. Forgive us for the times that we have not properly honored you nor loved our neighbor as we ought.
Give us the grace to do better. We ask you to give us wisdom, so that we might be good stewards of the earth; generosity, so that we might properly care for those who go without; charity, so that we might treat everyone as a child of the same Father; and holiness, so that we might glorify you in everything we do.
We ask all this with hearts full of wonder and praise.|
